Home Free Services employes and contracts professionals within the home services space. Many services are performed by our professional staff. Some home services require special training, licenses, etc.
If you need a service that our staff are not licensed to provide, we’ll let you know and then use our network of local contractors that we know deliver professional home services to consumers at a fair price to get the work done.
For example, perhaps you need a licensed roofing contractor and we may not have a staff member that is a licensed roofing contractor, so we’ll schedule our recommeded roofing contractor to introduce themselves and provide you with an estimate.
The benefits to you, the consumer, are lower costs, stability in communication, standardized prices, streamlined billing, experienced contractors, and organized scheduling.

For those that do not have a handy spouse, nearby relative, or neighbor, how do you know which home services professional to use?
How do you know if a contractor is properly licensed to do the work you need done. For example, someone has to be licensed to spray chemicals to get rid of termites in your home. Unfortunately, not all those promoting this service hold the proper license.
Home Free Services screens local home service technicians and has developed a network of licensed professionals, as needed, that are available to service you.
We screen all prospective service providers that apply to be in our network by doing personal interviews, IQ tests, verify insurance, do background checks, and gather data from past clients.

How often do my air filters need to be changed? How do I get rid of the wine stain out of my carpet? Does the service I need done require a licensed professional? Can I do the job yourself without a permit? Are there ways to get the work done faster?
Most people are not licensed general contractors with years of residential construction experience under their belts.
So, what do people do when they have questions about maintaining their homes? Some people ask friends and relatives, some search the internet and some forget and never get those questions answered.
Home Free Service has a network of professionals that make themselves available to answer your questions. Some services need a licensed or certified contractor, some do not. The qualified technician will help you understand your options, get your questions answered, provide time estimates, etc.
We Do Money!
The Home Free Services network provides flat rate pricing. Our independent technicians agree to provide services based on two rates, one for non-licensed work and one for services that require a licence or certification to do the work.
Price estimates for work to get done often have a wide range; however, the time estimates for work to get done are often similar. The technician provides their time estimate to do the work and the cost of materials, which then creates an estimate based on the flat rate pricing.
Invoicing, collections, etc. is time-consuming and can drive up the costs of work to get done. To keep costs down, Home Free Services has a co-operative agreement with its technicians and handles all written quotes, service agreements, invoicing, billing and collections.
For the consumer, its nice to have one company to be billed by and pay.
We Do Scheduling
Who has time to make calls, sit on hold, and then wait for home service technicians that occasionally don’t show up or don’t call when running late.
Home Free Services handles the scheduling and coordination.
We get the technician to your home, if needed, to gain an understanding of the scope of work, get you your quote, get agreements signed and be the conduit to schedule the work and ensure it gets done.
If either the customer or technician is running late or needs to reschedule, call us and we’ll handle the communication.

Problems arise, mistakes happen!
Who do you call if you are not satisfied with the work performed on your home? Many people take pride in their work and willingly come back and fix any issues. However, some individuals, especially those that are transient, are onto their next gig and goneski.
By using Home Free Services, the person doing the work is responsible to ensure they performed as agreed. If they do not, they may be suspended from receiving more work through our network. This potential loss of future revenue is a wonderful incentive to complete all jobs as detailed in the scope of work agreement.
Lastly, all contractors and customers of Home Free Services agree to binding mediation. The cost is a one-time $200 for a party to file for mediation, thus affordable to all, and the case is scheduled and completed within 30 days.
